Eligibility
• Timeframe: The image must be taken between November 2, 2024, and November 1, 2026.
• Subject: The image must be a macro or super macro composition.
• Submissions: You can submit the same macro image to the "Best 5 Images" and "Best Picture of the Year" categories. -
Image Editing
Allowed: Minor editing is permitted using any imaging software. This includes:
• Color and contrast adjustments.
• Removal of backscatter.
• Cropping up to 15%.
• Fixing minor flaws and consolidating the background. -
• Prohibited: Any editing that alters the main content of the image is not allowed. This includes:
• Moving or removing subjects/models.
• Implanting foreign elements into the photo.

AI Usage
• Strict Prohibition: The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for image creation, enhancement, or manipulation is strictly forbidden. All submitted images must be the result of conventional photography techniques.
- Image editing that alters the main content of the image, such as moving, removing models, and/or implanting foreign elements, is not permitted.
