GUIDELINES

3 BigAnimals images taken between November 2nd, 2024, and November 1st, 2025, can be submitted to this category.
These can be 3 standalone impressive images of sharks, dolphins, or whales, or 3 images featuring these animals that produce an impressive portfolio when integrated into one series.
Images should refer to Sharks, Dolphins, and Whales' Behaviour context, emphasising their powerful visual appearance, independence, and tendency to control.

AI Usage Prohibition:
We want to emphasise that using AI (Artificial Intelligence) in any form for image creation, enhancement, or manipulation is forbidden in this year's competition.

At World ShootOut, we value the traditional artistry and skill of underwater photography. Thus, all submitted images must result from conventional photography techniques and be free of AI-generated content.
Minor editing of images using any imaging software is allowed. This includes colour and contrast enhancements, backscatter removal, minor flaw fixes, and background consolidation.

Image editing that alters the main content of the image, such as moving, removing models, and/or implanting foreign elements, is not permitted.
